This 1982-1988 Monte Carlo, El Camino, & Malibu 1st design 5-gauge shadow box includes Classic Instruments black face gauges, 86-88 style faceplate, wiring, lights and rear gauge housing/pod (will fit in 82-85 cars with new headlight switch knob and bracket). Fits into your existing gauge pod (modification required to existing box). Some wiring required with wiring harness and instructions supplied (some common wiring tools are required). Gauges included: 160mph speedometer with built-in tachometer, odometer, 240ohm fuel levelgauge, oil pressure, water temperature, voltmeter. Oil pressure and temperature senders included. (2) green LED turn signals installed, blue LED bright beam indicator and red LED brake indicator included. You will need to reuse your right indicator lens, A/C duct & vent, light switch and knob. Must have the round gauge layout to work (rectangular speedo from 78-80 Malibu & El Camino will not work). The new shadow box and gauges are installed into a new instrument cluster pod that is dyed to your factory interior color (86-88 style face plate included). You will need to reuse your A/C duct & vent, light switch and knob.

NOTE: Classic instruments uses a 240ohm fuel sending unit as opposed to the factory 90ohm unit. A new sending unit is included and your fuel tank will need to be modified for it's use. Contact us for details.
