1978-1988 Monte Carlo, Malibu & El Camino tach filter. A faulty tach filter can cause several problems, the most common of which is an erratic tachometer. The tach filter is a silver cylinder that is mounted near the ignition coil. Direct fit with OE connectors and firewall grommet.
NOTE: 1987-1988 cars used an ESC distributor (small distributor cap) which had a different connector on the distributor side. This distributor side connector will need to be modified.
