1978-1988 Monte Carlo, Malibu & El Camino natural finish A/C (and heater) delete plate. Our CNC laser cut panel is made of .080 thick 5052 aluminum. It's light weight and strength is ideal for this application while meeting NHRA requirements. Panel mounts in the same factory heater box holes. Adding a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the panel will seal out any fumes from the engine compartment (we recommend Permatex Ultra Black Hi Temp RTV Silicon Gasket Maker).
This plate is a raw unsanded natural aluminum that may show surface imperfections from manufacturing. Easily sanded for a machined look, paint to match your engine compartment or polish it for a show like appearance.
