The RetroSound® New York is a direct-fit replacement radio for your 1985-88 Monte Carlo and El Camino (can be adapted to earlier models). Until now, the only solution has been to install a standard DIN-sized radio into your 1.5 DIN opening with an awkward adapter. The New York looks and fits like the original factory radio, but boasts the most modern technological features. These include a powerful built-in 25 watts RMS x 4 channel amplifier and RCA pre-outs for adding external amplifiers. Built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming — and Bluetooth® Music Browsing is included. New York has a 32,000-color display allowing it to be customized to match your vehicle’s interior. A single rear-mounted USB port for flash drives and two standard auxiliary inputs provide plenty of flexibility and allows playback of WMA, MP3 or FLAC files. It also includes an installation kit and wiring harness.
